What are the future challenges for your supply chain?  
In e-commerce, the major challenge is always to be able to anticipate the needs of final customers. Supply chain is at the heart of our activity, offering the appropriate tools to answer these needs. In order to have a high performance, it is necessary to be able today to detect and encourage the emergence of new ideas and work to build innovative solutions that are fast, flexible, interactive and also respectful of the environment. To this end, the key topics are IoT and the Blockchain, the automation of warehouses and decarbonization of our logistic and transport activities. France benefits from an exceptional pool of startups and large industrial groups that are leaders in their sectors. 
Why are you involved in the Supply Chain of the Future Chair?  
In the Casino Group and especially at CDiscount, we believe in sharing ideas and experiences because we are convinced that openness, sharing and collaboration are driving forces for development. For example, our industrial partners have shared with us their feedback of their tests of the “Ownest” solutions during a seminar. This sharing allowed us to begin our test & learn phase,, via our startup accelerator, with very precise ideas of the strengths and weaknesses of this solution. Thus 18 months later, we decided to industrialize the technology consisting in tracing the transfers of responsibility over the whole journey of a parcel. One hundred percent of our large and bulky products will now be traced by the Blockchain thanks to Ownest.
