In a context marked by major transformation projects, especially in ecological transition or digital transition, supply chain departments are required to put in place regularly new projects and new processes, involving agility practices and structuring change management to the concerned teams.
The chair has thus brought together teams in charge of change management within the 4 partner companies for a seminar of sharing and reflection on this theme, also involving external experts, both industrial and academic.
The goal of this seminar is to suggest to the chair’s partners a feedback sharing, to identify the levers of success or failure of the conduct of change carried out within the framework of the transformation of the operations.
The following questions were addressed through the various interventions :
- How to ensure change management at the level of supply chain teams ?
- How to support the change in order to guarantee the good landing and the sustainability of new projects and processes ?
- What feedback in terms of tools, practices and levers for success or failure ?
- How to capitalize on academic insights around cognitive and behavioral sciences to adapt change management practices ?
The program of the seminar have thus allowed to apprehend different perspectives around the management of change :
- A framing of the subject with Laure Van Effenterre, Partner at Argon and Co and specialist in operations transformations projects.
- An academic perspective around behavioural sciences in change management, with Nicolas Fieulaine, researcher in psychology at Lyon 2 university, teacher at ENA on the integration of social psychologie in the conception of public policies.

– David Glijer, David Glijer, director of digital transformation, at ArcelorMittal France, who returned oh management change at the territorial level, involving the entire ecosystem of the company (carriers, service providers, partners, local authorities) : AcerlorMittal France is the leading employer in Hauts de France, with the Dunkirk site, its european flagship, chosen to be the company’s “green revolution” laboratory.
– Carl Azar, managing director in charge of the industries and natural resources at Russell Reynolds Associates France, who provided the perspective of a recruitment firm on the subject of change management, based on the trends observed by headhunters in the search for profile with multiple hats, capable of transforming and digitizing the company with finance and ESG in their sights.
– Yannick Migotto, Partner at Argon and Co, in charge of the sustainable development offer, who shared cases of change management in the sector of retail/food.
– Rodrigo Guzman, co-founder of Hubble_s, who presented a solution inspired by behavioral sciences and implemented through intellectual property and technology of Hubble_s to enable companies to address the dimensions deemed structuring in terms of change accompanying. - A direct exchange session with 2nd year students of the industrial engineering department of the school of Ponts ParisTech, who presented the results of their work within the framework of the “Melusine” projects proposed by the 4 partners of the chair.
